Senior VistA MUMPS Developer

Responsibilities:

• Design and build a scalable, automated unit testing framework (M-Unit) for MUMPS-based VistA applications.
• Develop and maintain containerized VistA EHR environments and CI/CD-integrated automation solutions (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Collaborate with MUMPS developers to ensure compatibility with VistA standards, routines, and operational requirements.

Tooling and Integration:

• Create a Visual Studio Code extension (TypeScript) for test execution, results visualization, and code coverage navigation.
• Build and maintain a C#/.NET-based test runner for Linux environments.
• Integrate testing capabilities into CI/CD pipelines to enable automated test execution, reporting, and coverage tracking.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• 5–10+ years of hands-on MUMPS development experience with strong VistA architecture knowledge.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, C#/.NET, Linux environments, Docker, and CI/CD platforms.
