Senior Backend Engineer (Node.js / NestJS) – Greenfield Product

Key Responsibilities:

• Build scalable backend services, design architecture, and own features from concept through deployment.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers and product managers to turn ideas into reliable, scalable systems.
• Mentor engineers, contribute to technical decision-making, and improve team standards and productivity.

AI-Augmented Engineering Approach:

• Actively use modern AI tools to improve development speed and quality while maintaining strong engineering judgment.
• Write effective prompts, evaluate AI output, and explore AI-driven workflows as a tool to enhance engineering.

Required Skills and Contract Details:

• Must have 5+ years backend experience with TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, and scalable architecture design.
• Contract duration is 9-12 months, fully remote from Brazil with overlap for European business hours (CET/CEST).
• The role requires strong communication in English and experience with relational databases, Git, CI/CD, and Docker.
