Senior QA Automation Engineer, Core Apps

Automation & Test Strategy:

• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of automated test coverage for data integrations, data pipelines, and supporting infrastructure.
• Identify automation opportunities across feature development, regression, and infrastructure testing, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines where applicable.
• Define and evolve data-focused test strategies to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and reliability across systems.

Data & Infrastructure Testing:

• Test backend systems including REST APIs, event-driven services, and serverless infrastructure (e.g., AWS Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB, Kinesis, S3).
• Validate data pipelines, ETL processes, and transformations, ensuring correctness across large datasets and integrations.
• Perform SQL-based data validation and analysis to confirm data consistency and expected behavior.

Quality Leadership & Collaboration:

• Take ownership of test planning, execution, and risk identification for Data-related initiatives.
• Work closely with Data Engineers throughout the development lifecycle to advocate for quality and shift testing left.
• Mentor and coach junior QA and QA Automation Engineers, contributing to overall framework quality and team growth.
