Mid Level Flutter Engineer

As an Engineer II at Very Good Ventures, you will play a key role in the success of the development of our multiple client projects. You will work with your Engineering teammates on client projects to provide software solutions and automated tests for complex and exciting problems, from automotive to fintech. With the support of the team, you will be able to write code that follows VGV standards, you will write many tests (unit, widget, integration...), you will pair with many of your colleagues, and you will collaborate with teammates from other disciplines (design, product…) to define and execute the delivery plan of the project. Technical Excellence is expected, demonstrating a professional understanding of software development fundamentals, object-oriented programming, and advanced topics like dependency injection and REST APIs. Proficiency with tools like Git and command line is required. You should contribute code with simple to medium complexity and provide effective code reviews. You will take an active role in planning and estimating software features and participate in code-pairing sessions. Effective Collaboration & Communication are crucial. You should be able to onboard new teammates, articulate solutions confidently, and seek help when blocked. The most successful individuals combine execution skills with the ability to inspire others and create new opportunities, actively sharing their learning journey and contributing to company resources.
