Be the primary data scientist on our Places app, with full ownership over how data is used to build and optimize a recommendations-first experience. This is a rare chance to shape our data strategy from the ground up and have a direct, visible impact across the entire product. You’ll work closely with product, engineering, and design to explore user behavior, run experiments, and make our product more personalized and impactful. Build and maintain dashboards and metrics, helping the team self-serve and monitor key performance indicators.
Dig into user behavior, search logs, and engagement data to uncover patterns and generate new hypotheses. Design and analyze A/B tests and other experiments to guide product decisions and measure impact. Apply and evaluate large language models (LLMs) for tasks such as semantic search, personalization, and user understanding.
