Senior Accountant

Role Overview:

• This is a full-time contractor role covering a maternity leave from approximately May 2026 through March/April 2027.
• You will work directly with the current Senior Accountant for a thorough handoff before taking independent ownership of key accounting processes.
• The position is fully remote and involves 40 hours per week, requiring reliability during this critical coverage period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute payroll accounting across multiple platforms including ADP, Deel, and Velocity Global, performing detailed reconciliations and flux analysis.
• Handle monthly commission entries, benefits reconciliations at the employee level, and sales tax payable account management and filings.
• Administer FloQast to manage reconciliations and close checklists, ensuring timely delivery of all assigned items in the monthly close.

Qualifications and Process:

• Requires 4+ years of progressive accounting experience with a strong focus on payroll and commission accounting, plus a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• The hiring process includes a 30-minute video call with a Recruiter and a 45-minute video call with the Hiring Manager.
• All final candidates will complete a background check and employment verifications as part of the pre-employment process.
