UK Credit Compliance Officer

We are seeking an experienced Credit Compliance Officer, to lead and strengthen compliance oversight across our growing suite of lending products. We are building innovative, tech-enabled credit solutions that challenge the status quo, and you will play a key role in ensuring our products remain compliant, responsible, and customer-focused. We are looking for a candidate with deep expertise in FCA rules, CONC, SMCR, and Consumer Duty, paired with strong commercial acumen. You will apply this knowledge across the full lending lifecycle, from modern underwriting using alternative data to technology-led collections, ensuring our innovation is both responsible and compliant. Responsibilities include maintaining the compliance framework for credit-related activities, acting as a trusted advisor to product and credit teams, reviewing and signing off on credit-related communications, overseeing end-to-end compliance across our credit journeys, and supporting adherence to the SMCR regime. The role also involves interpreting new regulatory guidance, partnering with legal, risk, and data teams, and acting as a key point of contact during regulatory engagements.
