Job Description
The Strategic Sourcing Manager (SSM) helps manage the medical/surgical product portfolio and drives cost reduction initiatives throughout Sentara Healthcare. They act as a consultant and supporting resource for the clinical and non-clinical areas of Sentara. The SSM drives organization-wide product change and serves as an internal advocate of Sentara product standardization/utilization initiatives. This individual coordinates new product introduction, product trials, and overall product change initiatives on behalf of end users. The SSM reflects the mission, vision, and values of Sentara and adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Compliance. They also comply with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
