Medical Director, Heart Transplant

POSITION SUMMARY:

• Influencing usage and confidence in molecular diagnostics into routine medical practice.
• Individual contributor role with opportunity to build a team as the business grows.
• Job location can be remote with ~50% travel.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Recruit industry-leading PIs and clinical sites to participate in clinical studies, meeting budget and timeline requirements in collaboration with Clinical Trial Operations dept.
• Drive medical education efforts to support successful launch and commercialization of our transplant product portfolio by teaching the community how to use the tests.
• Support the publication strategy by crafting papers in collaboration with Scientific Communications dept.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 5 years of practice experience (post fellowship) in transplant cardiology, seeing and treating patients.
• At least 3 years of clinical trial experience in academia, biotech industry, or equivalent
• At least 2 years’ experience in industry, Medical Affairs, or Clinical Development with record of success in commercializing transplant products (therapeutics or diagnostics)
