About the Role:
- Seeking an experienced and strategic State Policy Director to lead California policy efforts.
- Develop and execute policy strategies across the West Coast, including Oregon and Washington.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee state government relations in the California legislature, agencies, and governor's office.
- Build and lead stakeholder coalitions on key legislative and regulatory issues.
- Engage members, track policy updates, and represent the organization in public forums.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 8+ years in clean transportation, sustainability, or policy advocacy.
- Expertise in California clean air, climate, and transportation policy.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and public speaking skills with diverse stakeholder groups.
