The Risk Adjustment Medical Record Retrieval team at BCBST is seeing a Medical Record Retrieval Specialist to join our team. This position will be dedicated to the Memphis, TN area. Preferred candidates will have experience with medical records and Electronic Medical Record system(s). You will be a great match for this role if you have administrative experience in a clinical setting, strong interpersonal skills, familiarity with EMR systems, and are adaptable and willing to travel locally. The role involves loading medical records, downloading records from EMR systems, scheduling appointments, assisting with the medical record quality assurance process, performing special projects, and traveling to provider offices to acquire medical records. The role requires local travel in the Memphis, TN area and occasional overnight stays.
