Product Engineering:
- Design, build, and maintain web application front end and the APIs that power it.
- Translate product and user requirements into clean, well-tested code.
- Own features end to end from technical design through deployment.
Data Engineering and Infrastructure:
- Contribute to data pipeline and integration work feeding the education data platform.
- Support infrastructure decisions related to performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Ensure data is validated, well-structured, and secure with proper authentication and authorization.
Collaboration Across DataKind:
- Partner with Data Engineering and Data Science to operationalize models into production features.
- Conduct timely code reviews and contribute quality technical documentation.
- Improve internal tooling and engineering process documentation.
