- Support clients in evaluating and developing mining solutions, including mine access planning, mining method selection, and supporting infrastructure.
- Assist with open pit mine design, phase planning, and optimization to ensure safe and efficient resource extraction.
- Perform waste dump design, haul road design, fleet evaluations, and equipment analysis for mining operations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a BS in Mining Engineering or related field and 4+ years of experience.
- Preferred: 6 years of progressive surface mining experience and proficiency with mine planning software like MineSight or Deswik.
- EIT certification or progression toward PE licensure is an asset.
Additional Information:
- No sponsorship or relocation will be offered for this role.
- All new hires must attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office.
- Travel approximately 20% domestically and internationally as required.
