Senior Auto Damage Appraiser (Road Appraiser)

Responsible for the assessment of motor vehicle repair costs and assist in the adjustment and settlement of automobile physical damage claims. The assessment will be conducted in an efficient manner to control the indemnity spend and expenses without compromising the delivery of superior customer service. The role involves utilizing automated estimating systems to prepare complete, competitive auto repair estimates, negotiating with repair facilities, re-inspecting repaired vehicles, and evaluating the actual value of vehicles declared a total loss. Adherence to dispatch needs and fulfillment of claim investigation and resolution in the field are also key components. It requires excellent communication and negotiation skills, a strong knowledge of motor vehicle repairs, and prior appraiser experience.
