Security Engineer III

The Security Engineer III monitors, analyzes, and responds to cybersecurity incidents, utilizing specialized tools for threat detection and mitigation. With a high level of autonomy and responsibility, they improve the quality of deliveries and align expectations between the involved areas. The role involves investigating and responding to security alerts and incidents, conducting in-depth analyses for rapid containment and resolution. Monitoring and operating security tools, providing inputs, and directing corrective measures in the company's environments are crucial. Developing and maintaining monitoring procedures, playbooks, and dashboards, prioritizing automations and reducing false positives, this role also participates in war rooms, reporting incidents clearly and objectively to stakeholders for effective communication and agile decision-making.
