Halcyon is seeking a Senior Malware Researcher to lead complex ransomware research on Windows and Linux, mentor researchers, and drive the development of tools and decryptors. You will set research priorities, identify emerging threats, and ensure detection and recovery strategies remain ahead of the threat landscape.

Lead the daily operations of our Security Monitoring team in detecting, analyzing, and responding to organizational security events. Manage the current state of logging and monitoring capabilities across the enterprise, maintain a vision of the ideal state, and drive a prioritized roadmap to get us there. Partner with departments and teams to educate them on our services and integrate them into our processes.
This position will support the implementation of cybersecurity strategies that protect the digital network, connected assets, hosted applications, data, and employees within the Operational Technology (OT) environment. Lead and coordinate a cybersecurity technical team, managing workload distribution and ensuring timely delivery of project goals. Serve as the primary liaison between the technical team, leadership, and architecture/strategy teams to align solutions with functional and architectural requirements.
