The Senior Cyber Security Engineer role provides leadership and subject matter expertise on cyber security-related issues and decisions. This position requires designing and implementing system security solutions and capabilities that enable the organization to identify, protect, detect, respond, and recover from cyber threats and vulnerabilities. The role is accountable for performing technical research, engaging in software development tasks, and participating in consensus-building meetings.

Coordinate with the Section Manager and Team Lead to support the network availability and integrity with confidentiality and security. Communicate, investigate, triage, monitor, and respond to security incidents, events, alerts, and issues according to standard operating procedures and in collaboration with NS Operations. Contribute to alert thresholds refinements and contribute to continuous improvements to the Security Section for the benefit of customer satisfaction.

Seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Security Engineer with expertise in Palo Alto Prisma Access and Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) to design, implement, and optimize network security solutions to protect enterprise environments, requiring deep technical knowledge of network security frameworks and cloud-based security models.

Focus on driving new business by working with Account Executives within territory. Be part of a team that helps provide direction for engineering cyber-security solutions that will be offered to customers. Make design and configuration recommendations for prospects/customers' environment. Position may require up to 25% travel within the GuidePoint Heartland region.
