This Network Security Engineer role involves Network Security software development, requiring collaboration on developing requirements, writing technical specifications, designing, coding, and working with a team on testing and deployment. The role requires technical expertise during the application development process to support products and solutions from various vendors.

Reporting to the Security Operations Center Manger, you will partner with the Cyber Security team and across PAR Information Technology organizations to protect PAR network and infrastructure assets, intellectual property, customer, and employee data. You will monitor security systems, investigate and respond to security alerts, and collaborate with the IT team to ensure security controls are in place.

As the CMMC Compliance-Focused Engineer, you will be a strategic partner and hands-on contributor, collecting evidence of compliant work, configuring IT/security systems, and guiding internal teams on best practices to ensure our organization and our clients adhere to all relevant standards, frameworks, and best practices. You will implement and maintain security controls, design secure configurations, and provide expert guidance during client-facing CMMC audits.

Planning, implementing, managing, monitoring, and upgrading security measures for the protection of the organization's data, systems, and networks. Troubleshooting security and network problems. Responding to all system and/or network security breaches. Ensuring data and infrastructure are protected by enabling the appropriate security controls.
