This is a Home Based role, so come join NECSWS Housing Team, you will be given the support and time to grow and develop your skillset and knowledge of our system. You will work directly with one of our highly skilled consultants to shadow, and complete personal aspects of the work until you are ready to work directly with customers independently on a full end to end project.

The Cyber Security Engineer will join the InfoSec Detection Team to provide security guidance, threat hunting, and incident response capabilities, as well as enforce security best practices throughout NEC. You will collaborate closely with the Detection Team, Response Team, and Architects within the group, developing and maintaining NEC security posture, in line with government guidance and our accreditations. You will advise on, investigate, and remediate complex security risks and issues across the business.

As a Detection Team Engineer, you will report directly to the Detection Team Lead and provide valuable security guidance, threat hunting and incident response capabilities. Responsibilities involve developing and maintaining NEC security posture, investigating and remediating complex security risks and issues across the business, with a strong focus on root cause analysis.
