Role Overview:
- Lead and support execution of nuclear engineering activities for advanced reactor and SMR designs.
- Ensure technical deliverables and nuclear safety information flow across engineering disciplines.
- Integrate neutronics, criticality safety, shielding, and compliance functions within multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Author, review, and approve nuclear safety analyses, licensing documents, and criticality safety evaluations.
- Establish and validate criticality safety limits and engineered controls for SMR systems.
- Perform radiation shielding designs and radiation-transport analyses to ensure operational safety.
About You:
- Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering with 7+ years of experience; Master's or Ph.D. preferred with 5 years.
- Hands-on proficiency with MCNP, SCALE/KENO, Attila4MC, or Serpent codes.
- Comprehensive knowledge of NRC, DOE, and IAEA regulatory frameworks.
