Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care and medical management for obesity treatment, collaborating with a team of APPs and Registered Dietitians.
- Ensure clinical documentation and protocols are followed and contribute to quality improvement within the obesity medicine program.
- Participate in a rotating after-hours call schedule and attend relevant departmental meetings.
Candidate Requirements:
- Must hold an MD or DO degree with board certification and be an American Board of Obesity Medicine (ABOM) diplomate.
- Must be licensed to practice and prescribe in specified states (AL, TN, OK, MO, IN, SC, GA) and hold a Letter of Qualification with the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact.
- Should have excellent interpersonal skills, prior telemedicine experience, and a commitment to evidence-based obesity management.
Work Arrangement & Details:
- This is a modified full-time position (32 hours per week) based in a remote, telemedicine clinical setting.
- Schedules are flexible and include protected time for administrative duties and a supportive care team environment.
- The role requires participation in an on-call schedule, with a reduced clinical schedule during on-call weeks.
