Archaeology Technician

Responsibilities:

• Conduct pedestrian survey, test excavation, and data recovery for archaeological projects.
• Utilize web-based applications and field notes for data collection and photography.
• Assist with field form completion, data entry, and preparation of site records.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma plus 2 years of relevant experience in California archaeological fieldwork.
• Valid Driver’s License and US Citizenship are required for travel and project work.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology or Archaeology and 3+ years of field experience are preferred.
