This role involves delivering diabetes or weight management consultation, along with providing Advanced Nurse Practice primary care services remotely. Advanced Nurse Practitioners may need to refer customers to be seen face to face in a Bupa Centre or another provider when necessary. Clinical work must be completed in accordance with the National Framework of Advanced Clinical Practice, and in line with the NMC professional code of conduct, as well as the Bupa code of conduct.
The Advanced Nurse Practitioner will engage in incident reporting and investigation as outlined in Bupa's incident management and reporting policy, in addition to participating in internal competency assessments and annual clinical review. They will also need to undertake NMC revalidation every 3 years, deliver best practice care to a wide variety of corporate and self-paying primary care customers following Bupaβs clinical governance, policies, procedures, guidance materials and quality standards, following professional codes of conduct.
This role requires a commitment to delivering outstanding professional and customer service standards, along with proactively contributing ideas to the remote clinical leadership team and promoting Bupa positively and proactively to employees, corporate clients, and customers.
