Product Designer (Senior/Staff)

Monarch is looking for Product Designers (Senior/Staff) who are passionate about crafting high-quality user experiences and elevating the design of personal finance tools. In this role, you’ll spend the majority of your time designing and iterating on new features within the product. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product and engineering, and have opportunities to contribute strategically to Monarch’s design direction. You will own end-to-end product and visual design, ensuring a high bar for UI/UX through detailed execution in Figma. You’ll occasionally conduct UX research with customers, test prototypes, and refine designs based on insights. You will work closely with product and engineering teams to define features, work through technical constraints, iterate on designs, and to ensure seamless handoff and implementation of designs. Within your first 90 days, get up to speed with Monarch’s design system, take ownership of new product design projects, and collaborate on UX research when needed.
