About the Role:

  • Independently perform retrospective reconciliation of complex CDI reviews and final coded records.
  • Interpret and apply official coding guidelines, regulatory requirements, and compliant query practices.

Collaboration & Impact:

  • Collaborate with CDI Specialists, Coding Professionals, and Physician Advisors to resolve discrepancies.
  • Analyze findings to identify systemic issues and advise leadership on improvements.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Associate's degree in healthcare field and 5+ years of CDI experience or inpatient coding experience.
  • Active RN license or AHIMA CCS credential required; CCDS or CDIP certification preferred.

Work Environment:

  • Professional office environment with remote work option.
  • Sedentary role involving sitting, occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
