In this critical role, you’ll oversee prescription intake, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and effective communication across all channels. Key Responsibilities include: Prescription Intake & Verification: Receive prescriptions via electronic systems, fax, and phone; verify prescription details; and ensure compliance with regulations. Data Entry & System Management: Input and maintain prescription data in the pharmacy management system and update patient profiles. Clinical Review & Patient Safety: Review medication orders for interactions and communicate with prescribers. Patient Communication & Support: Provide medication counseling and address patient inquiries. Collaboration & Workflow Management: Partner with pharmacy technicians and providers for seamless processing. Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate records and conduct audits. Training, Development & Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on pharmacy laws and contribute to process improvements.
