Senior Software Engineer

The Foundations team sits at the heart of Vanta’s architecture and is critical to unlocking current and future Vanta products by fetching, processing, and serving the core resource and evidence data that powers Vanta. As a member of this team, you’ll work on the source-of-truth systems that enable core Vanta compliance and auditing experiences. The role involves improving the scalability and reliability of our core data systems, defining how resource data is modeled, stored, and queried, and collaborating with other teams to understand user needs. Success requires 5+ years of experience, comfort with distributed systems, understanding customer problems, and a bias towards shipping quickly.
