Responsibilities:
- Lead onshore and offshore developers, manage backlog, and partner with the Team PM on estimates and capacity planning.
- Define code review, testing, CI/CD, and documentation standards, and personally review high-risk pull requests.
- Track KPIs like site availability, checkout health, deployment frequency, lead time, and change failure rate.
What we're looking for:
- 8+ years as a full-stack engineer on customer-facing e-commerce or web platforms, including 2+ years leading developers while staying hands-on.
- Strong backend with Node.js/TypeScript, SQL, event-driven integrations, and modern React/Next.js frontend experience.
- Experience running production workloads on GCP or Azure, with infrastructure as code, CI/CD, observability, and Shopify Plus APIs.
