Role Summary:
- The Senior Node Software Engineer is a technically senior, backend-focused individual contributor.
- This role centers on building Node.js and TypeScript services, Next.js API routes, and the underlying data layer.
Responsibilities:
- Leads architecture of the backend platform, including service and API structure, asynchronous processing, and data modeling.
- Owns design and implementation of the most complex backend features using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Provides day-to-day technical leadership, code reviews, and mentoring to the Node sub-team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in CS or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of professional software development experience with primary backend expertise.
- Deep proficiency with Node.js, TypeScript, Next.js API routes, and database design.
