Job Description

The Vendor Management Specialist plays a crucial role in optimizing vendor operations, ensuring seamless communication, and improving compliance. This position acts as the primary liaison between vendors and internal teams, focusing on issue resolution, performance monitoring, and process improvements. By leveraging data-driven insights, this role will help mitigate risks, enhance efficiency, and improve vendor relations, ultimately contributing to better service delivery and customer satisfaction. Daily tasks include acting as the main contact for vendor communications, issue resolution, and process updates, managing vendor compliance, chargebacks, dispute forms, and returns. The specialist will oversee vendor and shipping carrier performance, addressing issues with packaging, claims, and shipping holds. The role involves facilitating new vendor onboarding and maintaining accurate vendor records, supporting Customer Care and buying teams with operational data and vendor calls, and escalating and coordinating solutions for vendor-related operational challenges.
