About the role:
- Fully remote backend engineering position based in India.
- Own features end-to-end, from database design to production delivery.
- Collaborate with a distributed international team on AI- and algorithm-driven products.
Key responsibilities:
- Build and evolve backend services, RESTful APIs, and domain models.
- Implement algorithms for scoring, ranking, routing, and optimization.
- Optimize performance through efficient queries, indexing, and caching.
Requirements:
- Strong Python and Django experience with solid PostgreSQL and SQL knowledge.
- Hands-on REST API design and implementation; DRF preferred.
- Comfortable working independently with high ownership and clear communication.
