About the Role:
- Act as the engineering backbone for the Applied AI team, building the access layer, audit logging, and system architecture.
- Connect company systems securely and produce verifiable records of agent actions.
- Extend the core from read to bounded write with signed mandates and attestation receipts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the access layer with short-lived tokens, least-privilege access, and zero raw PII.
- Define versioned schemas and build the authority lease service with integrated kill switches.
- Capture events into append-only, hash-chained logs for tamper-evident auditing.
Requirements:
- Senior Python-first backend engineering experience with event-driven systems and CI/CD.
- Experience composing LLM agents into standing systems with deterministic control planes.
- Security-first habits in regulated environments (MSB/VASP, bank, or comparable).
