Course Developer

The eLearning Course Developer plays a crucial role in the creation and enhancement of educational and training eLearning courses for both internal and external purposes. The primary purpose of the role is to develop a variety of engaging learning artifacts including asynchronous eLearning training and education courses, instructional videos, and job aids. The Course Developer will provide direct support to the instructional designer to design and develop effective, engaging, and innovative learning experiences. The developer will provide support to the instructional designer to develop engaging, interactive and effective eLearning courses, as well as certificate and certification programs that are grounded in eLearning multimedia principles. Also create high-quality training video content, including screen recordings, voiceovers, and video editing, and develop job aids and how-to guides to support employee and customer training. In addition, you will collaborate with subject matter experts and instructional designers to understand learning objectives and course requirements, ensure courses are accessible and comply with relevant standards and guidelines (e.g., ADA, Section 508), support quality assurance testing, and continuously update and improve eLearning courses, training videos, and guides to ensure all material continues to stay up to date.
