Job Description
This position will allow candidates to demonstrate expertise in providing litigation support tasks like cite checking, document review, legal research, and numerous other relevant tasks.
The Law Clerk will work under the direction of a Project Supervisor or Project Manager, performing complex legal research for the trial staff. They will assist in preparing draft legal documents, such as motions, briefs, memoranda of law, and more. Additional responsibilities include reviewing cases, conducting research, editing decisions, and responding to citizen letters.
The Law Clerk will also brief attorneys regarding legal issues, theories, and draft statements of facts; assist attorneys with all phases of litigation; and perform cite checking via online legal research tools like Westlaw and Lexis.
