Software Engineer (Python, telemetry protocols)

This role involves the development of a telemetry service using MQTT, delivering real-time electrical and mechanical data to customer-facing systems. The ideal candidate combines deep technical proficiency in Python (alternatively: Rust) with hands-on experience working with telemetry protocols and real-time data pipelines. You’ll join a project with an established architecture and design direction, allowing you to focus on robust implementation and delivering a production-grade solution. Responsibilities: Design and implement a telemetry service to support real-time data delivery over MQTT. Work with existing SCADA infrastructure to consume and relay electrical/mechanical data. Build integration layers using APIs or MQTT-based methods to expose telemetry data to external systems. Ensure system robustness, fault tolerance, and performance in low-latency environments.
