Responsibilities:
- Produce verbatim transcriptions in Khmer, including filler words, repetitions, and false starts.
- Label speakers for recordings with 2–8 participants and annotate non-speech events like laughter.
- Follow project guidelines and maintain steady productivity and reliability throughout the engagement.
Workload & Commitment:
- Flexible schedule with work completable at any time of day as long as weekly hours are met.
- Ideally dedicate at least 20 hours per week, with approximately 4 hours of work available per day.
Qualifications:
- Native-level fluency in Khmer with familiarity of regional accents and informal speech.
- Strong listening comprehension and experience in transcription or linguistics is advantageous.
- Must have reliable internet, a laptop or desktop computer, and availability for 20+ hours weekly.
