Senior Federal Compliance Analyst

About the Role:

• This role serves as the focal point for Horizon3’s Federal Compliance Program, focusing on security posture and compliance strategy for DoD IL4/IL5 offerings.
• You will bridge federal regulatory bodies, security teams, and engineering, ensuring regulatory compliance of applications, products, services, and personnel.
• Act as the subject matter expert on DoD security requirements for AWS-hosted environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead compliance assessments and build-out of IL4/IL5 authorizations per DoD Cloud Computing Security Requirements Guide.
• Maintain and evolve compliance posture for FedRAMP High, NIST SP 800-53, and other federal frameworks.
• Serve as GRC liaison to development teams, translating compliance requirements into technical specifications for cloud-native infrastructure.

Qualifications:

• At least 3-5+ years of experience in GRC, Security Compliance, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of DoD CC SRG, FedRAMP, and NIST SP 800-53.
• US Citizenship required due to federal data and ability to obtain security clearance.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base salary range $115,000 - $186,000 plus equity package.
