Expert Technical Artist - Graphics

CD PROJEKT RED is seeking an Expert Technical Artist specializing in Graphics to contribute to Cyberpunk 2, the highly anticipated sequel to Cyberpunk 2077. This role requires someone with vast experience, artistic and programming capabilities, keen attention to detail, and a deep passion for crafting exceptional visuals that meet ambitious artistic and technical objectives. The ideal candidate will work closely with graphics engineers, designers, artists, and other developers to align the rendering approach with creative and technical goals. Responsibilities include look-development, prototyping, testing, and extending rendering systems within Unreal Engine 5, researching rendering advancements, maintaining visual coherence, troubleshooting rendering and performance issues, and collaborating on GPU budgets. The role also involves mentoring the art team and contributing to systemic components, requiring minimum 7+ years of experience in the video games industry with a focus on rendering, shading, lighting, vfx, and realtime graphics, as well as solid understanding of GPU workflows and shader programming expertise.
