About the role:

  • Own the data layer and analytics architecture, including schema and data model.
  • Keep the serving layer fast while building a tiered platform for system of record, serving, and batch/ML.

What you'll do:

  • Fix database performance and scaling problems.
  • Design and build analytics architecture with measured decisions.
  • Build observability and partner with ingestion team.

What we're looking for:

  • Deep production experience with databases and SQL.
  • Solid backend engineering, preferably Java.
  • Data architecture experience; Lakehouse and ClickHouse preferred.
