Role Overview:
- Partner with Product and Engineering to ensure quality, reliability, and scalability of Backblaze products.
- Advocate for testability, collaborate on acceptance criteria, and define strong quality strategies.
- Perform functional, integration, and regression testing for APIs and user flows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand the software stack and own comprehensive testing across UI and API interfaces.
- Interact with developers to clarify functionality, facilitate defect resolution, and verify software issues.
- Utilize AI tools to accelerate testing and advocate for AI adoption within QA processes.
Candidate Profile:
- Requires 10+ years of QA experience with a focus on testing at scale and excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Must have strong automation skills with scripting and tools like Selenium or Playwright.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum, SDLC, and cross-platform testing (Mac/Windows/Linux) is essential.
