Cost of Goods Sold Accounting:
- Assist in reconciling inventory transactions to financial records, ensuring accuracy of item costs.
- Perform weekly analyses of inventory costing to identify anomalies and report errors.
- Lead reconciliation of inventory clearing GL accounts to resolve discrepancies.
Month-End Close Support:
- Complete preliminary reviews of inventory reconciliation files and provide feedback.
- Assist in final inventory upload process and execute cost reporting functions.
- Attend travel to inventory facilities twice per year for physical counts.
Ad Hoc Projects & Analysis:
- Update and maintain tracker for open operations and inventory claims.
- Provide ongoing SOP and documentation support for new processes.
- Participate in data aggregation for annual audit, ensuring data integrity.
