Marketing AI & Automation Manager

Role Overview:

• The Marketing AI & Automation Manager analyzes and improves business processes across SecureSpace Self Storage by designing, implementing, and governing AI-enabled workflows and integrated systems.
• This individual-contributor role has no direct reports and works under general supervision, exercising independent judgment to resolve complex process and integration issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluates cross-functional processes, identifies root causes of inefficiency, and recommends whether to redesign, automate, retain, or discontinue workflows based on operational impact, risk, and cost.
• Designs and implements content-production, reputation-management, and reporting systems, establishing workflow stages, validation rules, and human-review controls.
• Owns testing, rollout, monitoring, and continuous improvement of automation systems, independently diagnosing failures and escalating material security or compliance issues.

Skills and Experience:

• Requires demonstrated experience in marketing operations or business operations with hands-on proficiency in workflow platforms like n8n, Make, or Zapier.
• Requires experience integrating REST APIs, using generative AI tools, and working knowledge of a scripting language such as JavaScript or Python.
• Preferred experience includes CRM/CMS systems, Google Workspace, Wrike, dashboards, SQL, and Git; familiarity with SEO is helpful but the role is primarily technical.

Work Environment:

• Works under general supervision with no direct reports, with occasional after-hours coverage needed to resolve critical workflow failures.
• Maintains documented escalation and manual-fallback procedures for issues arising outside business hours.
