Senior Backend Software Engineer | Data Platform

We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer (Data Platform Engineer) to our Data Platform team in Brazil! The Data Platform Team is responsible for building and maintaining system components that pave the way for data engineers and analysts to deliver their business objectives. This team leverages open-source software, uses cloud infrastructure and services, and builds software to accomplish its mission. People on this team have different technical backgrounds, such as software engineering, systems administration (Kubernetes), cloud infrastructure and services, data analysis, and data governance. As a Senior Backend Software Engineer, you will advocate for improvements in software quality, security, and performance. You will embrace the DataOps mindset to streamline and optimize repetitive tasks, collaborate with Analytics Engineers and Data Analysts to drive efficiencies for their work. This role provides tooling that improves the product development process and prevents failures.
