Responsibilities:
- Provide telephonic coaching, resources, and educational materials to patients to support their healthcare journey.
- Assist patients in accessing medical care and services within the health system, facilitating connections to providers and community resources.
- Participate in new employee orientation and mandatory meetings to ensure team cohesion and compliance.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Build strong relationships and deliver excellent customer service to enhance patient satisfaction and trust.
- Utilize problem-solving abilities to address patient and staff needs effectively in a healthcare setting.
- Operate healthcare tools and technology, including EMR systems, for accurate patient record management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum education includes a high school diploma or equivalent, plus a Medical Assistant Diploma or National Certification.
- Requires at least six months of experience as a Medical Assistant or Care Coordinator in an outpatient medical environment.
- Must hold a current CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross and maintain it during employment.
