About the Role:

  • Design and scale foundational backend services for Vida's personalized obesity care platform.
  • Work deeply with Python, Django, PostgreSQL, and GCP to deliver premium member experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect new backend systems, microservices, and versioned REST APIs.
  • Optimize hybrid data architecture using PostgreSQL, BigQuery, and dbt.
  • Drive operational excellence with monitoring, alerting, and incident response.

What We're Looking For:

  • 7+ years of engineering experience with deep Python and Django expertise.
  • Strong system design skills and hands-on GCP infrastructure as code with Terraform.
  • Experience with containerization, SQL optimization, and distributed systems.
