Associate Director of Bioinformatics (Women's Health and Organ Health)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of Bioinformatics Scientists, owning their professional growth and responsibilities.
• Own the research strategy behind new product development, working with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Drive bioinformatics analysis for assay development, including methylation, fragmentomics, and other cfDNA features.

What success looks like after a year:

• The team has a research roadmap you own, with visible progress outside the team.
• New analysis methods from your team are implemented in production code with demonstrated performance.
• You and team members become trusted experts that other functions direct their hard questions to.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or related field with 7+ years experience.
• 3+ years leading scientists and demonstrated ownership of research into clinical use.
• Deep expertise in NGS analysis, cell-free DNA sequencing, and diagnostic assay development.
