Principal Security Researcher

As a Principal Security Researcher, you’ll have the opportunity to work at the intersection of large-scale internet measurement, advanced threat research, and real-world cybersecurity events. The research doesn't just advance academic knowledge—it’s leveraged to directly protect enterprise customers and support critical national security initiatives. You'll collaborate with world-class researchers, engineers, and product teams while having the freedom to pursue ambitious research projects that push the boundaries of what's possible in cybersecurity. In this role, you will provide technical leadership for Censys research, engineering, and product, lead research projects end-to-end, drive the technical excellence of the company, and serve as an ambassador at public and private technical conferences. You will drive Censys’ technical excellence in finding and tracking adversary infrastructure, help to integrate this data into our datasets and products, work with our relevant government and commercial partners, and publish and speak about specific research results.
