Mechanical Engineer - Power Plant

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to provide technical expertise and oversight for natural gas power plant projects. This role supports the project team by reviewing designs and plans from external EPC firms, covering natural gas pipelines and power plants based on reciprocating engines and Gas Turbines. The Datacenter and Fuels department is responsible for projects from concept studies to completion, including Data centers, Power plants and low carbon fuels. Responsibilities include leading technical activities, serving as a subject matter expert on rotating machinery, setting the basis of design, and reviewing technical deliverables. The candidate will collaborate with other disciplines to ensure project integration and support the procurement process by preparing equipment specifications. Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, a PE license, and 5+ years of experience in power generation, oil & gas, or heavy industrial sectors. Expertise in natural gas power plants, reciprocating engines, and gas turbines is essential, along with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
