Controller

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide financial leadership and serve as a trusted strategic partner, guiding clients on performance, trends, and best practices.
• Lead recurring financial review meetings and build strong client relationships through proactive communication and high-quality advisory support.

Accounting Oversight & Review:

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and proper GAAP treatment.
• Review financial statements, reconciliations, and journal entries, troubleshoot complex accounting issues, and maintain audit-ready financials.

Team Leadership & Development:

• Lead and review the work of Senior Accountants, Accountants, and Bookkeepers assigned to client engagements.
• Delegate responsibilities, coach team members on technical accounting and client service, and support development through ongoing mentorship.

Process Improvement & Operational Support:

• Assess client accounting workflows and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and scalability.
• Lead cleanup and process optimization projects, support implementation of accounting systems, and drive adoption of automation solutions.
