Lead Substation Engineer 2 - Construction Management

Seeking a seasoned senior electrical engineer with 15+ years of experience in substation design and commissioning, with a strong understanding of protection and control. While this role is not design-intensive, it requires deep technical knowledge to support all phases of project execution—from planning and design review to high-level construction oversight and commissioning support. Provide technical leadership on substation projects specializing in substation design and commissioning with a strong focus on protection and control. Collaborate with engineering, construction, and commissioning teams to keep projects on track and aligned with scope and schedule. Review engineering design packages and material specifications to ensure completeness and constructability. Monitor construction progress at a high level, ensuring compliance with design requirements and safety standards. Develop, review, and support implementation of commissioning procedures, including system testing and startup. Assist engineering project management with progress tracking, coordination, and resolution of technical issues.
